Court of Appeal to Consider Backdale

The Peak District National Park Authority have announced that the Court of Appeal is to hold a short hearing on Monday 28 July about Backdale.
At this hearing the court will consider whether to give permission for the Peak District National Park Authority and the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government to appeal against the High Court judgement given in March. The court will also consider whether the appyeal should be expedited.
The Peak District National Park Authority, the Secretary of State and Bleaklow Industries will all be represented at the hearing.
